In April 2009 I was invited by John O`Leary to play at the annual Muddy Waters tribute in London. I was the first german who played there. The line up featured amongst others Alan Vincent, John O`Leary (ex Savoy Brown), Alan Glen (ex Yardbirds, 9 Below 0), Sam Kelly (Gary Moore, Blues Brothers Band), Shaky Vick and Paul Cox. I was scheduled to play two numbers, but the band kindly asked me to join them for the rest of the evening on stage. A great honour and real great evening.

Playing with the houseband and open my favourite London Bluesjam at the Coach and Horses, Leyton. You can see me conducting the masses to sing along with the "Polo Boogie". Theres a sample on the jam´s site. Click on the picture and you´ll be linked to the jam´s website. Always good to return there and meet our friends - especially Terry, Vera and Reg.
Here are some impressions of an autumn 08 charity event featuring John O`Leary (harp, voc), Ray Bartrip (key), Terry Duggan (b), Reg Patten (dr) playing a gig opening the Heathcote Arms jam in London, Leytonstone. You can see some video footage of that event by clicking on the pictures below.

Many thanks especially to Ron and Anny, Terry and Vera and Philip, who made that possible. Also many thanks to the great audience, to Reg and Claudio from the band and the "bluesboys" - I really had a ball. See you again... and thanks Terry for letting me "use" the Heathcotejam homepage :)
